Today, as we all know, Lazada and Shopee are very huge in terms of online shopping. And we cannot deny, most of us Filipino already buy some stuff online. So, in this article, I will guide you on how to start your Affiliate Marketing journey here in the Philippines.How to Start Affiliate Marketing in the Philippines?
1. Account Registration
Open the Registration Form and follow the step below so can create your account easily.
Step 1: Account Details
This is a basic step, just input your account details like first name, last name, email address, phone number, and password. Always remember your password to avoid future problems with your account.
Step 2: Property Details
In this step, you need to input the details of your social media account where you will promote the links of Lazada/Shopee products. You can use Facebook profile, Facebook page, Facebook group, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
Property URL: (Example: www.facebook.com/JustclickMehere)
Property Display Name: (Example: Best Lazada-Shopee Items)
Property Type: Content or Influencer
Property Category: *If you can’t find your category, just select Others.
Country Traffic: Philippines
After this, don’t forget to check the “I AGREE” checkbox then click Create Account button.
Step 3: Wait for Approval
After the submission, double-check your email if you received a message from Involve Asia. This email is needed to confirm your account, so you can able to log in to the Involve Asia Dashboard. *If you can’t see the email, you can check it in the spam folder.
Note: After submission, it takes at least 24-48 hours before they approve your request. The only thing you need to do now is to wait for the approval process.
2. Apply for Lazada and Shopee
Good news, if you got your account approved, you can now start promoting online products. Lazada is now automatic approve and don’t to apply but for Shopee you need to manually apply for the affiliate promotion.
To check all the advertisers available to promote, log in to your account and go to Menu and find “Partner” then click “Advertiser Directory“, this menu will list all of the available e-commerce sites you can promote.
You can find Lazada and Shopee in the shopping tab section. You can also apply to other sites if you want to promote their products. If you already find the shop you want to promote, just click the apply button, for the submission of your affiliate request of this specific shop. E.g. Shopee Affiliate
If the advertiser ask these questions below, just follow the inputs for your reference. In this example I used my Facebook Page Best Lazada-Shopee Items and I promote affiliates by posting content on Facebook.
If you finished, just click the save button then just wait for notification if Lazada or Shopee approved your affiliate application. It takes at least 24- 48 hours upon request. Now, if your request got approved, it’s time to start your journey on affiliate marketing.

Affiliate Commission Payment Procedure
When you are already generating sales on your affiliate links, you can expect a commission instantly.
But, there is a procedure, we need to follow, before we can get our commissions in our hand.
1. Validation of Commissions
Involve Asia will give you the conversion report and the sales report with the estimated earnings from the generated sales. But, this is just an estimation, this report is generated automatically by the software program.
This means, you can see the estimate earnings you can get, but this is not yet official. We need to wait the validation directly from the retailer.
For Lazada and Shopee it will take 45 days for the validation of the commissions.
Yes, we need to wait for 45 days, before the retailer will confirm our commissions and adjusted to ideal earnings.
2. Collection of Commissions
After the retailer confirmed the commissions, we need to wait another 45 days upon confirmation, before they send the payment and reflected in our Involve Asia dashboard.
Involve Asia will wait for the retailer payments before it will pass to you.
3. Withdrawal of Commissions
After a long 90 days of waiting, finally, you can now withdraw your commissions.
Involve Asia accepts Wire Transfer or Paypal transactions for your withdrawals. The minimum withdrawal for Wire Transfer is MYR 80 ($19) and in Paypal is MYR 400 ($94).
I you already reached the minimum threshold, you can now go to Menu > Payment > Payout Overview
then click ‘Request Withdrawal’.
You can only request for withdrawal twice a month. The withdrawal request will be processed within 10 working days from your request date.

Please note the following restrictions:
Involve Asia will not tolerate any affiliates and it’s a conversion that comes in as a result of non-compliance with the guidelines listed below.
- Usage of copyrighted videos on YouTube or any other video/streaming site.
- Bot / Software Generated traffic of any kind.
- Adware / Spyware traffic allowed.
- Misleading ads or creatives.
- Substituted Search Engine Results Page.
- Bundling of this offer with any other offers signup/installation process.
- Duplicate/invalid leads/installs/sales/conversions will be charged back at the end of the month.

Affiliate Marketing is one of the best sources of income-you can start with, especially if you are an online influencer who has a lot of social media followers here in the Philippines.
At the start, being an affiliate marketer is not easy. You need to be patient and consistent in promoting your products. But, in the long run, affiliate marketing can be one of your best sources of income.
